I graduated from law school this past Friday. It was a great feeling, (dampened only slightly by the bar exam ominously looming in the future). It was a great ceremony, followed by a get together at our place. My parents, sibling, in-laws were all able to attend, which made the day especially nice.
It is nice to know the book briefing, socratic method, outlining, etc. are behind me.
With relatives in town, we spent the next day in Evergreen, CO. We toured Hiwan Mansion, a beautiful cabin built in the late 1800s that was owned by a very interesting Victorian family. We also planned on ice skating at Evergreen Lake, but it was too cold--around 0 degrees Farenheit. Once we arrived home, we watched Shall We Dance, a great Japanese movie about a married man taking ballroom dance lessons on the sly.
All in all a great graduation weekend.
